Chopard
This Swiss watch company was founded by Louis-Ulysse Chopard back in 1860. At the time they concentrated on making pocket watches and chronometers. Now they are one of the recognizable names in the watch industry.
In 1975, they began to branch off and started creating ladies watches, as well as producing their first diamond watches.
In 1980, they launched their first sports watch models that had leather straps. Chopan also began to become more global as they opened up boutiques in Hong Kong, Geneva, and Vienna.
In 2006, they celebrated their 30th anniversary of their happy diamonds collection.
At the current moment there are 8 Chopard boutiques around the United States in places such as New York City and Palm Beach, Florida.
